The E-TIC project, a multi-actor initiative, is coordinated by ICVolunteers. The project is being implemented in  Senegal and Mali (Sahel Region), with the support of Fonds Francophones des Inforoutes and a series of other partners.

The mission of the Fonds francophone des Inforoutes Fund is to encourage greater use and mastery of information technology and communication (ICT) in developing countries and Central and Eastern Europe through support to following calls for proposals, initiatives multilateral production of content and digital applications Francophone, in accordance with priorities identified by the authorities of the Francophonie (Francophonie Summit, Ministerial Conference ...).

ICVolunteers (www.icvolunteers.org) is an international non-profit organization specialized in the field of communications, in particular languages, communication technologies and conference support. Development, exchange of information and service to the society at large are the key elements shared by the communities or organizations involved and by the individuals volunteering though its network.

 
Sénégal

CRESP

CRESP Sénégal (www.cresp.sn) is an NGO whose mission is to eradicate hunger and poverty, to support local sustainable development, preserve the environment and traditional wisdom in Africa. The NGO works in an integrated way in various areas of development. It works with two networks in 60 villages and local and international volunteers. CRESP leads to both internal projects operated by its own staff and its consultants and independent projects managed by other groups in collaboration with CRESP, including ICVolunteers is as specified in the agreement of affiliation.
 



Campus Numérique de la Francophonie Bamako / Dakar (www.auf.org) is the Campus numérique de l'Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie. The campus has space for training and organizing competitions in the field of Internet and ICT training for young scholars.

 

 

Youth and
ICTs_Mali

 

Youth and ICTs_Mali is a network of young foundation in Bamako, Mali. Created following the World Summit on the Information Society, the network aims to: - the availability of technology in the youth - educate, train and educate young people to ICTs - Participate in the fight against HIV / AIDS through ICT - participate in literacy programs for rural youth - Participate in the development of Mali on all fronts - creating web sites on Mali.

 

 

Le Service Civique National du Sénégal (www.civisme.sn) is a structure that depends on the Senegalese Ministry of Youth. Its core mission of preparing citizens committed to republican values, with a high civic spirit, a sense of responsibility and engaged in the work of national construction. It is therefore for this service to give volunteers a civic and moral as well as technical and professional preparation for their participation in public works to promote the development of the national spirit of volunteerism among young people and contribute to their preparation for social and professional integration.

Association de la
Communauté d’Ouladnagim

L’Association de la Communauté d’Ouladnagim (www.shindouk.org) is conducted by Shindouk, the head of the tribe and the community which brings together about 1,500 people living in the Sahel desert. Their nomadic camps are located about 120 km north of Timbuktu on the trail of the salt caravans Taoudunit (Azalahi). This tribe Bérabish called Ouladnagim "children of the stars, is of Berber origin and is an integral part of the Tuareg community. It has as main activity rearing camels, ASAL and transport and trade of salt on the backs of camels.

 

 

The town of Guede-Chantier is located in the North East of Senegal in the Region of Saint-Louis, Podor Department. It is inhabited by a rural population, majority Toucouleur or Fulani who work in hte field of agriculture, husbandry and fishing.
